Camp @ Home Success

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank the leaders involved in making our first ever digital “Camp at Home” a huge success!
The number of Beavers, Cubs and Scouts attending across each section was tremendous.
The combined digital and active challenges included:
- Den building/Tent pitching
- Building Skills
- Familiy Adventure
- Science @ Home
- Family Quiz night
- Stargazing and Bedtime stories
- Craft Activities.
Some of these activities will go towards badge work.
It was fantastic to see so many taking part including family members and all enthusiastically enjoying the weekend activities.
All the feedback from Parents and Guardians has been to congratulate the team on such a “fun and family weekend”
For me personally seeing the photos and comments through the various media platforms we use (due to us being in the present lockdown) I’m extremely grateful that our leadership team are still continuing to run our sections through these difficult times.
