The Scout Troop is the third and final section in the Scout Group, after Beavers and Cubs. Scouts aims to build and develop young people’s confidence, sense of adventure and outdoor skills, as well as encouraging them to explore their beliefs and attitudes and be creative. It offers them the independence to put these skills into practice at camps and even on international trips.

Discovering the world

Being a Scout is all about discovering the world on your own terms and making the most of what you have, wherever and whoever you are.

Alongside making new friends, Scouts master the skills that will help weather the storms of life. They can try things they’d never get the chance to do at home or at school – working with trained volunteers to achieve whatever they set their mind to.

The 88th Stirling Scout Troop  strongly believe in running a programme with everyday adventure at its core. The Troop often meet outdoors and camp regularly. Scouts will also have the opportunity to get involved in adventurous activities such as kayaking, canoeing, archery, climbing and much more.
