Beavers

Who:

Young people aged 6 to 8

When:

Wednesdays 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Beavers are the youngest members of the Scouting family and the focus of this section is learning through fun with friends. Beavers enjoy all that Scouting has to offer; being introduced to outdoor activities, having the opportunity to be creative, explore their local community and experience the excitement of a Beaver Scout sleepover with their friends.

Exploring the great outdoors

Being a Beaver is all about growing, learning and making the most of what you have. Beavers is very different from going to school. Instead of learning from books, you’ll figure the world out by exploring, playing and doing.

The 88th Beaver Colony is fortunate to meet in a location with fantastic outdoor space to allow us to take our programme outdoors as much as possible.
