On Friday night the Scouts visited the Stirling Fire Station.  The crew based at the station went over different scenarios with the scouts teaching them about fire safety in the home.  The firemen also showed the Scouts how they put on their uniform and breathing apparatus.  The highlight for the scouts was that they were shown how a thermal camera can be used to find casualties heat signatures when buried under rubble/snow etc.  They also got the opportunity to sit in the different fire trucks at the station. All of this in conjunction with the basic first aid that they were also taught completes parts of outstanding badge-work for our scouts.

We would like to thank the crew’s at Stirling Fire and Rescue station for welcoming our scouts.
