While our young people enjoyed a well‑earned Easter break, our fantastic volunteer leaders also took the chance to recharge — and to get stuck into some behind‑the‑scenes preparation for the busy term ahead.
The group’s Beaver and Cub teams met to plan an exciting programme and upcoming camps, while our Scout team used the downtime to sort the groups patrol boxes and finalise plans for the main camping season. A huge amount of unseen effort goes into making every activity safe, fun and memorable, and we’re incredibly grateful to the adults who give their time, energy and enthusiasm week after week.
We’re always looking to grow our volunteer team. Whether you’re brilliant at planning, enjoy organising kit, love a good spreadsheet, or simply want to come along on a section night and help out, there’s a role that fits the time you can give. Even a small amount of support makes a big difference.
