Top Scouting Honour for Nick! Congratulations.

Recently at Group Camp, our very own Scout leader, Nick was awarded the Medal of Merit for his exceptional service and dedication to Scouting.

The Medal of Merit is a prestigious award within the Scouts that acknowledges the significant contributions of adult volunteers. It is part of the broader Good Service Awards system, which aims to recognize and appreciate the efforts of those who go above and beyond in their roles within the organization

Nick has spent over 15 years  volunteering with the group, helping young people develop vital skills, confidence and character through outdoor adventures and community projects. He was part of the leadership team who took a party of 40 Scouts to the World Jamboree in West Virginia, America and he has been lead on numerous expeditions to London Docklands and Wings as well as the many camps and weekly activities provided to our members.

Nick was also recognised with another award at the event for his 15 years service.

We are incredibly proud to see Nick’s hard work and commitment recognised at this level.
